Ambassadeurs du Pain

I am a member of Ambassadeurs du Pain, an international association of bakers centred around the transmission of craft, knowledge, and responsibility.
The work extends beyond competition. It is about how bread is understood, practised, and carried forward — across different countries, cultures, and generations.
Through this platform, I remain connected to a wider network of bakers who share a similar approach to the craft, particularly in areas such as Respectus Panis, fermentation, nutrition, and technical discipline.
The association is also closely connected to the Mondial du Pain, a competition created not only to assess professional skill, but to encourage the progress of the craft, the exchange of ideas, and the development of future bakers.
For those who are considering a deeper path into the profession, or who are interested in participating in international competitions such as the Mondial du Pain, the association provides a structured framework.
In Malaysia and this part of the region, I see this as a meaningful responsibility. The craft is still growing, and there are younger bakers who may need access, guidance, and a clearer understanding of what this path requires.
Where appropriate, I may support or guide individuals who are preparing for that path — particularly in understanding the expectations, the process, and the level of commitment involved.
It is not a fast route, and it is not for everyone.
But for those who are serious about the work, it can be a meaningful one.
